Tours ↓

Are the Tours only in the summer?

  • No… you can tour anytime you want. However most people prefer to travel for tourism during the summer and maybe for Christmas.

How can I apply?

  • You contact us on any of our social media platforms (Facebook or Instagram) or fill out our online form, and we hope to respond to you in less than 24 hours. If you need a faster response, please contact us on Facebook

Do you offer organized tours?

  • It depends. Usually, students already have specific places in mind they will like to visit, which may differ from other students, so the logistics of setting up a combined package for all students may not be the best idea. We are still working on somethings though, based on popular destinations, however, if you have a big enough group (5 people or more) that will like to travel together, we can organize a tour for your group specially.

Is there discount for Group travelers?

  • Yes of course. That is why we’re called "student" travels. Everything about student travels is discounted. Even this website is discounted.

If I need a visa to travel, can you assist with that?

  • Yes we can. It’s already included in our services.

Is the visa 100% guaranteed?

  • No, it’s not.

  • In a nutshell, you should get the visa, but if you don’t, we will normally appeal the decision. We always want our students to get their visas, and we do everything in our power to make that happen. However, if the consular do not think you will return, you may be denied the visa.
You see, BY LAW, the consular of an embassy reserves the right to make the final decision and we cannot influence that. Even if we think you will get the visa, we cannot give you a 100% guarantee. The best we can do is to estimate your chances at 80%, 90%, etc., based on your previous travel experience and strong ties to the country of residence. In our experience, if you have travelled before, you have more chances.
However, if the denial is unjust, we will appeal the denial for you, free of agency charges.

What documents are required for visa?
Every country have their specific requirements, but there are some documents are usually requested most of the time.

>> example

  • International Passport and Resident permit (valid with at least 6 months left)

  • Passport Photograph

  • Travel Insurance

  • Confirmation Letter from School (confirming that you are a student)

  • Prove of Financial Means (Bank statement, ATM balance receipt, Sponsorship letter, etc.)

  • Travel Itinerary (accommodation and transport reservation)

  • Purpose of Travel (Invitation letter, Travel Agency voucher, etc.)

    >> Please note that we would guide you through the process of getting these documents. They are not difficult to get.

What if I am denied?

  • There are certain things we can do. We can appeal the decision and/or apply again (if the embassy gives us that option) OR we can try another embassy. We do appeals free of agency charges.

How long does the entire application process?

  • Honestly, that depends on you. If you're ready right now, we can get a visa submission date for you in 2 weeks within which we'll guide you through getting all your documents. VISA is usually issued in about 5 – 15 days. Thus you should be travelling in about 1 month from the date of contacting us... IF YOU ARE READY.

Conferences ↓

I hear a lot about Conference List. What is it?

  • It is a list containing carefully selected International conferences that we think will be beneficial to our students in terms of learning and getting updates on modern advances in the area of the conference theme. We also make sure these conferences are affordable for students and may present opportunities for students to meet with other professionals and colleagues and share in their research knowledge.

  • We combine these conferences into our quarterly published "CONFERENCE LIST”.

  • You can see the current list here.  >>Link to conference page, not list.

Where can I find the conference list?

  • You can see the current list here

Are all conferences CME/CPD accredited?

  • No. On the list you may see which conferences are CME/CPD accredited. You may also ask us to be sure.

  • >>Please note that CME/CPD accreditation does not necessarily proof that a conference is the best conference. It just shows that the program schedule has been planned in accordance with ACCME standards (an accreditation organization for CME). There are other accreditation organizations and even a non-accredited CME conference may benefit you more than an accredited one. All conferences on our list have been carefully selected because we think they are great conferences for our students.

If needed, is Visa application included in the conference package?

  • Yes, it is.

Medical Electives ↓

What is a medical Elective?

  • Medical Electives are programs for medical students (usually medical and dentistry students) that aims to sharpen their clinical skills and get them to learn more practical things in patient care, as compared to theory in medical classes. Therefore these electives are held in either hospitals, policlinics or in the field (e.g. medical excursion) usually under strict supervision by a medical supervisor.

  • Medical Electives is similar to academic rotation. It presents students with an opportunity to practice in their desired field of specialization and experience the working environment, and maybe decide if they still want to pursue that specialty or change.

  • Medical Electives are usually held anywhere from 2 weeks up to 12 weeks, and can be extended in some cases. However, Electives are not Internships or Residency programs, and cannot be switched to residency when you get to the hospital. You will not be paid during an electives. If anything, you will be the one to pay the hospital for the elective placement.

Is this only for medical student? Can a dentistry student apply?

  • Electives are for both medical and dentistry students, and in some cases, Pharmacy students may also apply if departments are available. Students from 2nd year may apply but some institution only accept from 3rd year and some accept only final year students. Please contact us for verification before applying.

I’ve graduated Medical school, can I apply?

Yes, you can. Some Institutions allow already graduated medical students who want to sharpen their clinical skills before starting a residency or internship program. However note that this not a route to gain residency placement or internship at a hospital. You cannot change your elective to a residency or internship.

Do I get a certificate after participating a medical elective?

  • Yes, you do.

  • Additionally, if your school will need an assessment score sheet after your elective, please inform us because not all institutions give an assessment sheet.

Which Institutions offer medical electives?

  • There are a lot, but we have compiled a list of some of them that we can help you apply to.

  • You can find the ELECTIVE BROCHURE here. It’s free

What Specialties/departments are available?

  • Just about all departments are available.

  • However, there are some departments that will only allow 5th and 6th year students because students in lower years may not understand much during the training as they have not yet learnt the basics. Such departments may include Pediatrics, Psychiatry, Emergency Medicine, some surgical specialties like neurosurgery, plastic surgery, etc.

    >>Please contact us if to know if you can apply for your prefer department or go through our Free Elective Brochure.

  • Would I send the documents by post or scanned via email

  • Scanned and sent via email. Everything is done online.

  • However, when you are offered the placement, you may need to show them the original copies on your first day of placement. So keep them safe.

How long do the entire process take?

  • It depends. It can be anywhere from 3 weeks to 3 months.

  • Early application is important. We advise you apply up to 8 months before your intended start date of electives. Minimum 3 months, however, you can contact us for emergency application, and we will try our best.

Is a placement guaranteed if I apply?

  • If you apply early, placement may be guaranteed. We have several institutions we apply to, so if one doesn’t work out, another will.

How much does everything cost?

  • It depends. It can be anywhere from $1000 – $2000 depending on the Elective fee (You can find that in the Free Elective Brochure). Other factors to consider is if you will need to rent an apartment or stay with a family or friend, daily transportation from your house to the hospital (if you are not staying in the doctor’s quarters), flight ticket, etc.

If needed, is Visa application included in the Medical electives package?

  • Yes, but it comes at an extra cost.

If needed, is accommodation included in the Medical electives package?

  • Yes, but it comes at an extra cost.

What is the language of instruction during the electives?

  • English.

  • However, you need to understand that not all patients may speak English, especially if you are having your electives in Austria (official language: German) or Malta (official language Maltese). However, the supervisors will instruct you in English and will help you translate to English in some cases.
